• Transdermal Electrolysis
|
Instead of inserting a needle into the hair follicle, such as with Needle Electrolysis, conductive gel patches are placed over the area(s) to be treated and galvanic current is applied. When the current comes in contact with the water and salt that is naturally found in the hair follicle, a chemical reaction takes place. The chemical reaction creates sodium hydroxide, just like in traditional needle electrolysis. The sodium hydroxide damages the germinative cells in the follicle, thereby achieving permanent hair removal over a series of weekly & then bi-weekly treatments. |
